Our special interest at The Gecko Spot (incase you didn't notice the clue in the title ), is in geckos (we keep several species), however we also keep corn snakes.

Screech

	Hatched:23 June 2000 (Bought September 2000) Phase: Normal Sex: Female Length: 9.5 inches (snout to tail-tip) Weight: 86g (last weighed 14 September 2002)
This is the first leopard gecko I got, the one that got me hooked! She got her name due a noise she once (and thankfully, only once ) made. This season (2005) she has mated with Casper and already has eggs cooking in the incubator. Check the available page in April for news of her first hatchlings.

Amber

Hatched: 16 June 2000 (Bought December 2001)
Phase: Hypotangerine carrot tail
Sex: Female
Length: 8.5 inches (snout to tail-tip)
Weight: 83g (last weighed 17 October 2002)

You can probably guess how Amber got her name!. She was mated with Tango in the 2001 breeding season (her first breeding season), Houdini was one of their daughters. In 2002, Amber mated with Casper, Aspen is one their daughters from 2002. Photos of her offspring can be seen in the gallery. This season (2005), Amber has mated with Casper, her eggs are expected in the incubator very soon. Check the available page in April/May to see her babies.

Tango

	Hatched: 14 July 2000 (Bought December 2000) Phase: Hypotangerine carrot tail Sex: Male Length: 9 inches (snout to tail-tip) Weight: 81g (last weighed 18 November 2001)
This is Tango, he's such a laid back chap!. Houdini is one of his daughters, his other offspring can be seen in the gallery. Check the available page in April/May to see his 2005 babies.

Saffron

	Hatched: April/May 2000 (Bought April 2001) Phase: Patternless Sex: Female Length: 7 inches (snout to tail-tip) Weight: 58g (last weighed 18 November 2001)
Saffron is Mrs Cool, she is one of the most laid back of The Gecko Spot gang. This season she has mated with Quasi and her eggs will be in the incubator soon.

Houdini

Hatched: 13 June 2001
Phase: Hypotangerine carrot tail
Sex: Female
Length: 9.5 inches (snout to tail-tip)
Weight: 108g (last weighed 15 February 2004)

Houdini got her name on the first night following hatching. I'd placed her in a geobox which was divided in two by a plastic divider. At some point in the night she had scaled the divider, deciding she liked the other side of the geobox better. Her mother is Amber and her father is Tango. She was incubated at 27-28^oC and hatched on 10 June 2001 at 19:55 (after 59 days incubation). She is the first baby I hatched, and I even saw her hatching!. She was left in the incubator overnight, and set up in the geobox the next day. She ate one cricket on 11 June (just one day after hatching), and shed for the first time on 13 June 2001.
She has mated with Casper this season, her babies can be seen on the available page, others are still cooking in the incubator

Star

	Hatched: 1999 (Bought November 2001) Phase: Patternless Sex: Male Length: 9 inches (snout to tail-tip) Weight: 75g (last weighed 18 November 2001)
Star is a proud father to many babies- see their details in the gallery. His babies can be seen on the available page, others are still cooking in the incubator

Bramble

	Hatched: 1999 (Bought November 2001) Phase: Normal het-patternless Sex: Female Length: 8 inches (snout to tail-tip) Weight: 50g (last weighed 18 November 2001)
Bramble is a great example of a normal (wild type) leopard gecko. This season (2005) she has mated with Star, her babies can be seen on the available page, others are still cooking in the incubator.

Pebbles

	Hatched: 1999 (Bought November 2001) Phase: Hypotangerine Sex: Female Length: 8 inches (snout to tail-tip) Weight: 53g (last weighed 18 November 2001)
Pebbles' previous owner did not provide her with a moist hide, as a result she had several bad shed and has sadly lost most of her toes. She manages fine without them though!. This season (2005) she has mated with Star her babies can be seen on the available page, others are still cooking in the incubator

Humbug

	Hatched: early 2001 (Bought August 2001) Phase: Striped Sex: Female Length: 8 inches (snout to tail-tip) Weight: 51g (last weighed 18 November 2001)
I'm not sure exactly how to describe Humbug's colour phase. I saw one which looked like her in The Leopard Gecko Manual by Roger Klingenberg, it was described as a ghost-phase, but it didnt have a striped tail. This season Humbug has mated with Tango her babies can be seen on the available page, others are still cooking in the incubator.

Angel

	Hatched: August 2001 (Bought August 2001) Phase: Hypotangerine carrot tail Sex: Female Length: 8 inches (snout to tail-tip) Weight: 67g (last weighed 22 September 2002)
Isn't she a great colour? This season (2005) she has mated with Tango her babies can be seen on the available page, others are still cooking in the incubator.

Casper

	Hatched: August 2001 (Bought August 2001) Phase: Hypotangerine carrot tail Sex: Male Length: 11 inches (snout to tail-tip) Weight: 131g (last weighed 7 June 2004)
Casper is my giant!!, he really loves his food, his favourite is locusts, but he eats anything!! I've never seen a gecko put on weight so quickly. He was only 6g when I bought him at the end of August 2001, he put on around 70g in only 4 months and he now weighs in at 131g. Some of his offspring can be seen on the available page, others are still cooking in the incubator

Spooks

	Hatched: September 2002 (Bought September 2002) Phase: Albino Sex: Female Length: 7 inches (snout to tail-tip) Weight: 60g (last weighed 9 March 2004)
Meet Spooks, she is very laid back and seems to like being handled! This season she has mated with Buck, her babies can be seen on the available page, others are still cooking in the incubator

Aspen

	Hatched: 4 June 2002 Phase: Hypotangerine carrot tail Sex: Female Length: 8 inches (snout to tail-tip) Weight: 71g (last weighed 23 February 2003)

Buck

	Hatched: December 2002 (Bought February 2003) Phase: Patternless (het albino) Sex: Male Length: 7 inches (snout to tail-tip) Weight: 44g (last weighed 2 April 2003)
This is Buck, Mr Jumpy!, he doesn't like being handled too much. Some of this season's babies can be seen on the available page, others are still cooking in the incubator

Solero

	Hatched: May 2003 (Bought July 2003) Phase: Banana Blizzard Sex: Female Length: 4 inches (snout to tail-tip) Weight: ??g
This is Solero. I think she is a beautiful colour, she is a banana blizzard and has a fantastic appetite!! This season (2005) she has mated with Buck, her babies can be seen on the available page, others are still cooking in the incubator.

Coyote

Meet Coyote... she's bright orange, and I love the stripe down her back! She loves silkworms! This season (2005) she has mated with Mac, her babies can be seen on the available page, others are still cooking in the incubator.

Storm

This is Storm. She is a Blizzard!! and she has a great appetite. This season she has mated with Garfield, her eggs should be cooking in the incubator soon.

Jasmine

This is Jasmine. She is a hybino with a great appetite. This season she has mated with Garfield, her eggs should be cooking in the incubator soon.

Buzz

This is Buzz. Her mum is Screech and her dad is Casper. She is very big and chunky just like her mum and dad!. She will be breeding later in the season.

Kiora

Erica

This is Whiskey. I love the contrast in her colour between the brown and yellow. She will be breeding later in the season.

This is Al. He's was hatched at The Gecko Spot in 2004. He's a very pretty boy!
